And What a Party It Is!

One of the best known fiestas, are the November fiestas in Benidorm when many people visit simply to enjoy the gigantic celebrations. The fiesta celebrates its patron saint and takes place over a whole seven days when the working town all but shuts down and the celebrations last all day and all night!

Stunning firework displays, amazing street processions, dancing in the street and plenty of live music with the addition of crowds in the bars and restaurants having a wonderful time - it truly is an event not to be missed.

This year the fun begins on 7th November (but if you're quick you could get here for the last couple of days perhaps!) Officially ending on Wednesday 12th November with a float parade through the Old Town finishing at the Plaza de la Hispanidad, followed by later, a marvellous forework display at Poniente Beach (harbour). However, one more day, the British Fancy Dress Day on Thursday 13th, then takes place. The entire area around the 'english Square' and calle gerona are packed with people, many in large groups dressed in fantastic costumes, the efforts made by everyone to dress up and join in creating the atmoshpere of a huge street party, the aim of the day simply to have some fun! If you can, be there, if you can't... there's always next year. As always Bombon Party will be in the thick of it all... Fiesta!
